myers the classic. Always the smallest possible set of edits.
patience ignores repeated lines and lines up on the ones that occur
exactly once on both sides — usually the most readable diff
when blocks have been moved around.
histogram like patience, but anchors on the rarest shared line instead
of demanding uniqueness. Better on files full of boilerplate.
colors
red removed from A green added in B
yellow changed — the highlighted bits are the words that differ
blue moved: the same line turned up somewhere else
// compares by meaning, not by text: key order is irrelevant, rows are matched
on their key column, and a value that moved is not reported as a change.
// column 0 matches rows by position instead of by key.
YAML support covers a common subset — no anchors or block scalars.
[!] some blocks were too large to expand (limit 65,536 addresses) — those are compared as blocks

0// 10.9.0.1 sorts before 10.10.0.1 here, ::1 equals
0:0:0:0:0:0:0:1, AA-BB-CC-DD-EE-FF equals
aa:bb:cc:dd:ee:ff, and coverage mode answers "is this address inside
any of those blocks" instead of comparing spellings.
// no file is loaded on one side — that side is compared as UTF-8 text
// bytes are compared position by position, exactly like cmp:
one inserted byte near the start makes everything after it differ. Green means the
checksums match, red means they do not.
